The retirement revolution is only just beginning

The Financial Times

Camilla Cavendish

"Life expectancy has increased dramatically. However the gains have not been shared equally. Higher income people are living longer than their low income compariots. As a result US data suggests that the wealthy will draw a six figure number of dollars in pension more than their low income compatriot. This is compoundered by the difference in years lived healthily.

This century will see ageing socities forced to rewrite longstanding social contracts."
